Wendy Walk

Rain is a proud sponsor of Wendy Walk, an annual charity event taking place in New York City, Miami, and Los Angeles to raise funds and awareness for Liposarcoma, a rare form of sarcoma cancer that affects the fat cells. The Wendy Walk was started in 2010 by Ali, Matt and Jackie Landes in support of their mom Wendy who was diagnosed with Liposarcoma in 2008.

This short and emotional video produced by Rain gives a glimpse into life with Liposarcoma and the beautiful way Wendy fought the disease with her positive attitude.

Lay’s asked America to create the next great potato chip flavor. And create they did! With a million-dollar prize and bragging rights on the line, millions of fans took to Facebook to vote, endorse and promote their favorite flavor for a chance to win big.

In conjunction with Energy BBDO in Chicago, Rain was commissioned to develop the national campaign’s Facebook application, mobile web experience, and a tweet aggregator to support the third phase of Lay’s “Do Us a Flavor”. Over one million unique votes have been cast and the page has been viewed 2.5 million times. We’re happy to be a part of bringing America their next favorite chip, the winning flavor of.... CHEESY GARLIC BREAD! You haven’t tried it yet? Go grab some on chip aisles across America. See the Project >>

Recognized as one of the top communications schools in the country, the Newhouse School now has a site with a modern look and feel, with robust CMS to connect with its audience and strengthen its strong reputation. This 300+ page site truly showcases the breadth of the interactive capabilities of our agency. Going green... again. Walmart, like Rain, values their commitment to the environment and creating a more sustainable world. So, its no wonder that they chose to work with us to relaunch their corporate sustainability blog, The Green Room, just in time for Earth Month!

Though Rain has been working on The Green Room since its incarnation (we built the site and have managed the content since it launched in January 2012), the overwhelmingly positive response and high traffic meant a fresh look designed with simple interactivity was essential for an improved site experience. The blog launched just in time for Earth Month, and has been met with applause, even garnering some big award wins, like the Bulldog Reporter Gold Award for Best Blog. See the Project >>
